By booking a service with Green Top Pest Management, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully before confirming your appointment.
1. Services
Green Top Pest Management provides professional pest control treatments for residential and commercial properties. While we aim to effectively manage pest activity, complete eradication cannot be guaranteed due to environmental factors, reinfestation from neighbouring properties, and pest behaviour outside our control.
2. Quotes & Pricing
All quotes are based on information provided at the time of booking. Final pricing may vary upon inspection, depending on:
- Property size and layout
- Severity and extent of infestation
- Access conditions (roof voids, subfloors, confined spaces)
- Additional treatments required on the day
All prices are inclusive of GST unless otherwise stated. Any variation from the original quote will be communicated and agreed upon before additional work is carried out.
3. Payment Terms
Payment is due upon completion of the service unless a prior written arrangement has been made. We accept cash, card, and bank transfer.
Invoices not paid within 14 days of the service date may incur a late payment fee. Accounts outstanding beyond 30 days may be referred to a debt recovery service, and any associated collection costs may be passed on to the client.
4. Customer Responsibilities
To ensure the treatment is carried out safely and effectively, customers must:
- Provide safe, clear, and unobstructed access to all treatment areas, including roof voids, subfloors, and outbuildings where applicable
- Remove or secure pets, fish tanks, and exposed food items prior to treatment
- Follow all preparation instructions provided at the time of booking
- Follow all post-treatment safety instructions provided by the technician
- Notify the technician of any known health conditions, allergies, or sensitivities before treatment begins
Failure to comply with these responsibilities may affect the effectiveness of treatment and may void any applicable service warranty.
5. Cancellations & Rescheduling
We require at least 24 hours' notice for cancellations or rescheduling. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours' notice may incur a cancellation fee of up to $60.
If a technician attends your property and is unable to access the premises or complete the service due to circumstances within the client's control, a call-out fee may apply.
6. Treatment Limitations
Pest control treatments are designed to significantly reduce pest populations and establish chemical barriers to deter reinfestation. However, we cannot guarantee the permanent elimination of pests. Reinfestation may occur due to:
- Activity from neighbouring properties
- Environmental or seasonal conditions
- Poor hygiene or sanitation practices after treatment
- Structural deficiencies or ongoing entry points not addressed at time of service
We will advise on preventative measures to reduce the risk of reinfestation as part of every service.
7. Warranty Policy
Where a service warranty is provided, it is subject to the following conditions:
- Full payment has been received
- All preparation and post-treatment instructions have been followed
- No third-party or DIY pest treatments have been applied after our service
- The property has been maintained to a reasonable standard of hygiene
Standard warranty periods are as follows, unless otherwise specified at the time of service:
- General pest treatment (spiders, ants, cockroaches, silverfish): 6 months
- German cockroach treatment: 3 months (follow-up visit recommended at 3 weeks)
- Rodent baiting programs: reviewed on a case-by-case basis
- End-of-lease flea treatment: warranty applies for the purposes of the tenancy exit inspection only
Warranties do not cover severe pre-existing infestations disclosed after treatment, or environmental reinfestation beyond our reasonable control.
8. Health & Safety
All products used by Green Top Pest Management are registered with the Australian Pesticides and Veterinary Medicines Authority (APVMA) and applied strictly in accordance with label instructions and NSW regulatory requirements.
Customers and occupants must follow all safety instructions provided by the technician, including re-entry timeframes after treatment. We are not liable for any adverse effects resulting from failure to follow these instructions.
Please inform us prior to the service if any occupant has known chemical sensitivities, respiratory conditions, or is pregnant, so that appropriate precautions can be taken.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, including the Australian Consumer Law (Schedule 2 of the Competition and Consumer Act 2010), our liability for any claim arising from a service is limited to the cost of the service provided or the resupply of the service.
We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages, including loss of income, loss of use, or damage to property not directly caused by our treatment. Nothing in these terms limits any consumer guarantee or statutory right that cannot be excluded under Australian Consumer Law.
10. Access & Refusal of Service
We reserve the right to refuse, postpone, or discontinue a service if conditions at the property are deemed unsafe, unsanitary, or inaccessible. In such cases, a call-out fee may apply.
Where a service is refused on safety grounds, we will advise the client of the conditions that would need to be resolved before treatment can proceed.
11. Disputes & Resolution
If you are dissatisfied with any aspect of our service, please contact us directly in the first instance:
- Phone: 02 4963 2274
- Email: admin@greentoppest.com.au
We will endeavour to resolve any complaint promptly and fairly. If a resolution cannot be reached through direct communication, the parties agree to attempt mediation before initiating any formal legal proceedings. These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia.
12. Privacy
We collect and handle your personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy, available at greentoppest.com.au/privacy. Your information will only be used for the purpose of delivering our services and will not be shared with third parties except where required by law or for payment processing purposes.
13. Changes to These Terms
Green Top Pest Management reserves the right to update these terms at any time. The current version will always be available at greentoppest.com.au/terms. Continued use of our services following any update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
